The Mitchell Group, a coated textile provider based in Chicago, Ill., announced that Roslyn Muney has joined the textile manufacturer as its new director of brand strategies. In her new role, Muney will primarily be responsible for identifying and targeting new markets and customers, along with other business development initiatives. She will also be tasked with raising brand awareness internally and externally, directly supporting the sales team. Additionally, Muney will leverage The Mitchell Group’s involvement in various industry organizations to augment its presence and position as a leader in textile product development.

Muney brings years of extensive sales, technical and marketing experience from both the residential and contract markets. She has previously represented companies such as Ultrafabrics, Wearbest, Arc-Com, and Schumacher. Her broad background in product development and sales within the textile industry has allowed her to develop well-rounded expertise and multi-disciplinary insights across all segments. She also brings strong business management and analytical acumen from her time working at Merck and Kimberly-Clark.
Muney is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing with a minor in textile design.
