Seshadri Ramkumar, Ph.D., a professor at Texas Tech University (TTU), received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Indian Science Monitor. The foundation’s Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes individuals for their contributions to science and technology. Ramkumar was recognized for his work in promoting India-U.S. collaborations in science and technology over the past 25 years.

The award ceremony was held in Kumbakonam, India. Ramkumar was presented the award by R. Chandramouli, former Indian Ambassador to Djibouti, in the presence of K. Rama Subramaniam, Ph.D., Valiant Technologies Pvt. Ltd., and S. Seetharaman. T. K. V. Rajan, Ph.D., founder of Indian Science Monitor, read the citation and coordinated the event.

As part of the event, Ramkumar delivered a lecture on “Life Management and Ramayana in Tamil,” which was telecast live.
