Morito Scovill Americas (MSA), a supplier of high-performance fasteners for apparel and light industrial applications based in Clarkesville, Ga., has announced that Shane McEntyre has been promoted to CEO.

McEntrye has been with Morito Scovill Americas for more than 37 years, joining the company in June 1989. He began his career in the shipping department and has since held several sales and marketing leadership roles, most recently serving as our chief sales officer and board member.

“I am pleased to announce that Shane McEntyre has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer of Morito Scovill Americas,” says Bunki Yano, president of MSA. “I will transition to chairman of the board and continue to support Shane and the entire MSA team while also focusing on other key initiatives within the Morito Group.”

MSA acquired Edward Segal Inc., a Thomaston, Conn.-based manufacturer of eyelets, grommets, rivets and snap fasteners for machines and custom-engineered automated assembly systems, in August.
