Sciessent, an antimicrobial and odor control technologies provider, announced that its Pilltec™ has been granted a patent by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The patent, U.S. Patent No. 12,366,031, covers Pilltec for fabrics, textiles and articles of manufacture.

The technology is a water-based, polymer-forming composition that enhances the durability and anti-pilling properties of treated textiles. Suitable for a wide range of materials, including natural fibers, synthetic fibers and blends. It is certified by the OEKO-TEX® Eco Passport standard.
