Point of Rental Software, Fort Worth, Texas, has acquired The Owl, a rental data insights platform founded by Anthony Durante and John Feliciano. The company said the move represents a strategic investment in deep rental industry knowledge and leadership.
Durante — co-founder and former CEO of Durante Rentals in New Rochelle, N.Y., and a contributor to the American Rental Association (ARA) in various leadership roles — has worked in areas including operational management, benchmarking and industry collaboration. Feliciano brings hands-on rental experience and a focus on data-driven decision-making.
The pair founded The Owl to “bridge the gap between raw data and real-world rental operations — turning performance metrics into practical, actionable insight.”

The Owl will be integrated into Point of Rental’s Rental Intelligence Suite, designed to enhance analytics capabilities with insights shaped by real-world operational experience. Point of Rental said customers will benefit from more meaningful benchmarking, clearer performance visibility and tools built by people who understand the day-to-day realities of running a rental company.
