Ann Hunzinger of Evanston, Ill., former owner and office manager of Evanston Awning Co. and director of the Mid-American 8 Canvas Products Association board, passed away Sept. 18, 2025. She was 74.
In addition to serving as director on the Mid-American 8 Canvas Products Association (MA8CPA) board, which is now known as the Midwest Fabric Products Association, Hunzinger was also on the Professional Awnings Manufacturers Association (PAMA) board and is an Advanced Textiles Association Honored Life Member.
Ann’s husband, Edward Paul Hunzinger Jr., who passed in 2017, was also a PAMA board member and served as president of MA8CPA.
She is survived by her three sons, Eric (Julia), Daryl (Kelly), Aaron (Megan), and her eight grandchildren: Justin, Samantha, Declan, Delaney, Charley, Jude, Lincoln, and Hadley.
