Cooke Rentals will celebrate 50 years in business with a luncheon on Wednesday, Aug. 2, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. EST, at its new location at 5352 E. Maiden Rd., Maiden, N.C.

The company says the luncheon will feature food trucks, ice cream and prizes, equipment for the do-it-yourself (DIY) and professional renter on display, and the opportunity to tour the facility.

Cooke Rentals was founded in September 1973 by Byron S. Cooke in Mt. Airy, N.C. As the business grew, Byron brought his three sons Chad, Andy and Ben into the operation. Over the years, the company added facilities in Denver, Cornelius, King and Maiden, N.C. Still family-owned and operated, Cooke Rentals is a full-service equipment business offering equipment and tool rentals to general contractors and DIYers. The company’s inventory of rental equipment includes generators, forklifts, backhoes, air compressors, trenchers, lift equipment reaching up to 66 ft., and more.

The company also offers party and event rentals with inventory including tents, fine china, tables and chairs, wedding accessories and more.

“I’m really looking forward to the community coming out and helping us mark this milestone,” said Chad Cooke, president, Cooke Rentals. “We would not be where we are today without the loyalty and support of the communities we serve. With their support we look forward to 50 more!”
