Sunbelt Rentals, Fort Mill, S.C., now is offering temporary containment walls that can be used for health care facilities, airports, data centers and office spaces. These reusable, modular walls can be placed in occupied areas during construction and remodeling to keep staff and visitors safe, the company said. The walls are a sustainable, environmentally friendly solution that removes the need for traditional drywall barriers, which ultimately end up in landfills at the end of many projects.
This product is currently available to rent at Charlotte, N.C., and Atlanta Sunbelt Rental locations and can be delivered to projects across the Southeast and other parts of the United States.
“Temporary containment walls are a new category of rental for us that we are excited to bring to our customers,” said Kirk Steward, national product manager at Sunbelt Rentals. “The fact that this product can offer protection in a variety of locations, combined with their sustainability component, makes these an appealing solution for many customers and markets.” The STARC temporary containment walls are designed to eliminate the dust, debris and waste associated with traditional containment methods, including drywall and plastic sheets. The walls also come in multiple sizes to fit any project requirement and can reduce noise up to 50 percent.
