Bespoke Event Rentals, an affiliate of Big Dawg Party Rentals with locations in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Long Island, the Bronx, Queens and Staten Island, acquired J.V. Chujko (JVC), Pittsburgh, Pa.
JVC was founded in 1948 and is a full-service event company covering Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey and New York. The company offers services primarily for corporate events and sporting events, and also has a smaller offering of equipment rentals, mainly complementing its special events rental core focus.
“When the opportunity arose, and understanding the coverage we would be obtaining, especially with major colleges and pro sports teams in the region as core event rental customers, it made complete sense to add it to our growing network of locations,” said Brendan Quinlan, president of Bespoke Event Rentals and Big Dawg Party Rentals. “JVC has a vast inventory including tents, skyboxes, seating systems, tables and chairs, stage and risers, fence, drapery, security/crowd control railing, china and linens, catering supplies, carpet and flooring.”
“I would like to thank Jay and Fred Hageman of Rental Business Advisors for their guidance and advice on this transaction. We look forward to continuing our working relationship with them,” Quinlan said. “Equipment rental is very intriguing to us, and we are looking to expand further into the general equipment side of the industry as well as the party and event segment.”
Fred Hageman and Jay Hageman of Rental Business Advisors represented Bespoke Event Rentals in the transaction.
Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
