Archroma and Nicca Chemical are collaborating to support the continued growth of ZELAN™ non-fluorinated durable water repellents across the global textile industry. The announcement follows Nicca’s acquisition of the ZELAN business from The Chemours Company in March.

Under the new agreement with Nicca, Archroma will continue as the exclusive textile industry distributor of ZELAN DWR products and the related Teflon EcoElite™ technology worldwide. Archroma will spearhead marketing initiatives for the solutions and provide technical support to mills and brands worldwide, as before. ZELAN-finished textiles will also qualify for Archroma’s upcoming HIGH IQ® lastingrepelᴾᴿᴼ assurance program, giving brands a well-recognized consumer-facing mark of DWR performance, durability and sustainability.
