ATA Japan, a member group of Advanced Textiles Association (ATA), held its Annual Meeting July 22. The meeting also included a forum and networking reception.

At the meeting, members approved activity and financial reports, elected new leadership, approved amendments to ATA Japan bylaws, and approved the business plan and budget for the coming fiscal year.

The bylaw amendments establish a two-year renewable term of office for counselors and instate that counselors, like other officers, serve without compensation.

  • Chairman: Hideyuki Nishikawa (Sankei Corporation, Osaka, Japan)
  • Vice chairmans: Hirotoshi Kuwada (Kuwata Tent Co. Ltd., Fukui, Japan) and Riku Goto (Goto Industries Co. Ltd., Saitama, Japan)

Following the Annual Meeting, a forum was held entitled “Practical AI Applications: Taking the First Step Toward Higher Productivity.” After the forum, a reception was held, where attendees networked over food and drinks.
