PFAS/ROHS/REACH/PROP 65
We are familiar with all four concerns from the industry. Snyder Manufacturing does not have PFAS detected in our material. We are also compliant with ROHS, REACH and PROP 65 for banned substances. Our quality department is constantly staying on top of any revisions and changes made to the ROHS, REACH and PROP 65 standards to ensure we are delivering compliant material to your needs.
Tariffs/Supply Chain Sourcing
The benefit of working with us is we are vertically integrated with our textile solutions. Knitting or weaving our own scrim, extruding vinyl, and laminating material all in house has been the key to our success. We have had little to no concerns regarding tariff pressure and stable pricing for our customers. We have positioned ourselves to depend on trusted domestic suppliers and in-house resources to maintain our high-quality reputation with competitive pricing. Delivery to our customers has not been impacted by this either.
Fire Retardant Material
Unless a customer has a specific need for no fire retardant to be added to their material, almost all our products contain FR. A common question that is asked, “How long will the FR stay in the product?” or “What is the lifespan of the FR properties?” The answer to this is the life of the material in the application it is designed for. We add FR into our film compound as well as our adhesive ensuring you have no concerns about this matter down the road. We are also capable of providing a flame certificate with proper documentation stating that your material is compliant with NFPA-701, CSFM, CAN/ULC-S109, ASTM-E84 , CPAI-84, A-A55308, MIL-PRF-20696, MIL-PRF-44103 or FMVSS-302.
Custom Solutions
With our broad in-house capabilities, the constant focus is how can we maximize customer solutions with the resources and equipment that we have? Not everyone needs a traditional product that comes off the shelf from our inventory materials. We have a dedicated R&D team that can color match to your specific needs and create in-house lab samples to expedite the color approval process. As well as finding the right construction for your application, may this be a custom scrim to maximize strength in the product or adding additional layers of PVC film sheets to your product construction.
