Apex Mills Corporation Inc., a technical textiles manufacturer based in Inwood, N.Y., has named Chris Rojas as assistant plant manager for the Apex Mills Aridyne facility in Graham, N.C. Rojas brings over a decade of production, process and quality improvement experience in warp and circular knitting, dyeing, and finishing from multiple manufacturing facilities. 

Rojas most recently served as director of global textile operations for Shawmut Incorporated. Before that, he was the vice president of manufacturing at Fairystone Fabrics Inc., where he was responsible for daily plant operations, customer response initiatives, capital investments and financial performance. He has also had plant management responsibilities at Elastic Fabrics of America and Milliken & Company’s facilities.

Rojas began his role on Dec. 2, 2024, and succeeds the previous Apex Mills Aridyne plant manager, William Frei, who is retiring at the end of 2025. Rojas earned his Bachelor of Science degree in textile management from North Carolina State University.
