Trivantage has announced its use of 100% renewable electricity for its facilities. This significant achievement supports parent company Glen Raven’s global sustainability initiative.

“This milestone represents our ongoing commitment to being industry leaders in reducing environmental impact,” said Steve Ellington, president of Trivantage. “We’re proud to power our facilities from 100% renewable electricity, and we will continue to educate ourselves and empower others within our industry for a lasting future.”

These efforts are achieved through the purchase of “Renewable Energy Certificates” which are a legal transfer of the environmental benefits of renewable electricity. Possible sources of the electricity include hydroelectric, wind, solar, geothermal and biomass power stations.

Glen Raven launched its first annual sustainability report in 2021, outlining the company’s sustainability ambitions and detailing a commitment to the highest standards of social and environmental consciousness. The report reflects a corporate vision to improve the lives of associates, enrich Glen Raven communities around the world and help preserve the planet. It also outlines ambitions for each of the company’s three divisions, including Trivantage, to be leaders in its industries in reducing environmental impact.
