President Donald Trump has paused 25% tariffs for Mexican goods and services covered by the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) until April 2. The decision was announced after President Trump spoke with President Claudia Sheinbaum.

On March 5, the president announced a one-month pause on 25% tariffs on imports from Canada and Mexico to U.S. automakers, which began March 4. The one-month pause was announced after President Trump spoke with three U.S. auto manufacturers, including Ford, General Motors and Stellantis.
