DuPont announced that four of its material technologies were recognized at the 2025 Edison Awards™. The company received two gold awards, one silver award and one bronze award.

“We’re honored that four of our innovative technologies have been recognized for delivering exceptional performance and creating lasting value for our customers,” says Alexa Dembek, DuPont’s chief technology and sustainability officer. “This achievement reflects the ingenuity and commitment to innovation of our teams and demonstrates the meaningful impact of our close customer collaboration to bring cutting-edge technologies to market.” 

Gold: Kevlar® EXO™ aramid fiber won a gold award in the Critical Safety Material Advancements category. Kevlar EXO aramid fiber is a copolymer that is 30% stronger than standard aramid body armor fiber, providing lightweight soft armor solutions.

Gold: Tyvek® Trifecta™ A2 breather membrane won a gold award in the High-Performance Engineering Materials category. Tyvek Trifecta nA2 breather membrane technology is a thin, robust monolithic polymer film with a non-combustible glass fiber substrate. It is lightweight, long-lasting and meets the energy efficiency requirements. For use in residential and commercial applications.

Silver: AmberLite™ P2X110 ion exchange resin won a silver award in the Energy Storage and Management category. AmberLite P2X110 is designed to increase longevity and efficiency during the production of hydrogen from water. Its ion exchange resin offers durable and reliable water quality that helps remove impurities and prevent contaminant build-up in electrolyzer loops.

Bronze: DuPont Ikonic™ 9000 semiconductor polishing pad won a bronze award in the Semiconductor Innovations for Artificial Intelligence (AI) & HPC category. DuPont Ikonic 9000 semiconductor polishing pads are for advanced node semiconductor fabrication and are designed for polishing advanced chips in AI, high-performance computing, and Internet of Things applications.

Established in 1987, The Edison Awards recognize excellence in new product and service development, marketing, design, and innovation.
